Our next study will start in November 2010. We will be working through Beth Moore's Living Beyond Yourself: Exploring the Fruit of the Spirit.

Living Beyond Yourself is a study of the fruit of The Holy Spirit as presented in the book of Galatians. Beth walks participants through each trait listed in the fruit and encourages women to know the freedom of a Spirit-filled life. Through this study participants will look at the supernatural aspects of the fruit and that you cannot grow, learn, or produce the fruit on your own. Beth challenges you to develop the fruit by maintaining an intimate relationship with the Spirit of God. A Spirit-filled life truly results in living beyond yourself.

Our study group will be conducted through a blogspot blog. All group members will have the ability to post their thoughts and feelings. Also, our study blog is a private blog-no one outside of the group members will have access to it and will not be able to read our discussions which allows for free open discussion. All group members are welcome and encouraged to share with the group through the blog as often as they would like. There are no requirements or strict schedules to work by.

Does this sound like something for you? If so, email me with your name, address, and phone number.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us!

Thank you,

Hey Abbie,
Thanks for commenting on my blog. My blog began as just my thoughts and routine of exercise. I was just journaling my activities, and I wanted to encourage others in middle age to get up and get moving. It changed as I went along.. becoming more personal with family stuff and also expressing my faith.

I tried to get into the blog on the Bible study, and it would not let me in. It said I had to be invited. So tell me what to do. Dee

Very much anticipating the start of our study of Esther. The five ladies I mentor at the prison started the study about a month ago and are realllllly enjoying it. Such intrigue! Such a soap opera! And yet, when all is said and done, we can easily see God's Hand in all.
In Him,
Benita
and a p.s. to Dee - Greetings from one gorgeous middle-aged gal to another. There's nothing like movement to keep not only your body, but your head in the right space! When I've got my walker up to "blow-em-out-of-the-water" speed the youngsters better watch out! Here comes grandma!! :)
